Introduction:

Soy sauce matches well with the taste of vegetables. You can make any vegetable dish taste great by simply adding soy sauce to fresh vegetables or steamed vegetables. Why not try making soy sauce salad dressing? Below are two ways to make soy sauce dressings.

Ingredients:

Option 1 (standard)

  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • 4 tablespoons of olive oil

Option 2 (sesame flavor)

  • 1.5 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon of vinegar (this amount can be reduced)
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame

Instructions:

Option 1: Standard Japanese style dressing. Suitable for any salad.

  1. Put all ingredients in a bottle and shake it well. Alternatively, you could pour the ingredients in a bowl and mix them well with a whisk.

  2. The liquid eventually separate so mix the sauce again before using it.

Option 2 : Sesame flavored dressing

It goes well with cucumbers (if you can't find Japanese cucumbers, western cucumbers also makes a good match), bell peppers, turnips and other such vegetables. It also goes well with tomatoes.

  1. Mix all the ingredients well. Pour the dressing on salads just before eating. If you pour it in on advance, you will lose the moisture from the vegetables and the taste will be lost, especially in tomatoes. Be sure to pour just before you eat.
